What is L.E.T.?

Leader Effectiveness Training (or L.E.T.) is both a textbook and an instructor-guided training course. The goal of L.E.T. is to learn communication and conflict resolution skills that will help you be more effective at your job and to develop and improve working relationships. It teaches professionals the skills they need to become better communicators, better listeners and better facilitators to help other team members grow personally and professionally. It helps organizations tap into the creative resources, abilities and productivity of all its members, not just leaders. L.E.T. describes a tested, proven model of Leader Effectiveness based on solid research evidence from hundreds of studies.

In this intensive program, you will learn to use the L.E.T. skills through presentations, video demonstrations, skill practice exercises, (did we mention coaching?), workbook exercises, and small group discussions and activities.

Benefits of L.E.T. for Individuals

At the end of the L.E.T. course you walk away with a different approach to interpersonal communication.

The highly practical conflict resolution skills help you be assertive without being (passive) aggressive or a pushover.

You feel more confident because you know how to respond to people problems, resistance from clients and how to have those difficult conversations with coworkers.

Your effective communication will help you resolve problems while maintaining solid working relationships.

Benefits of L.E.T. for Companies

People are more engaged, are excited to come to work and work hard to make your company successful.

Employee retention goes up and absenteeism go down.

Team-members are more open and trust one another more to share information about difficulties. Managers become better at communication, which in turn helps team-members feel they can tell managers about a project or something that is going on with them that they normally would withhold and keep to themselves.

Team-members become much better at Conflict Resolution. Every time they resolve a conflict they built interpersonal relationships. The pay off in solid working relationships is huge.
The Leader Effectiveness Training (L.E.T.) has been taught in hundreds of corporations in the U.S. and worldwide, including many Fortune 500 companies [click here to see the list].
